Agile Workshop

As you may have seen from Paul’s blog here we are running an agile workshop for local companies to get together and share experiences and ideas around the practical implementations of agile.

Some of the topics we are looking to cover are below:

• Agile in a waterfall World – Pitfalls and solutions for implementing Agile in a traditional waterfall organization
• Scrum without the releases – Overcoming the challenges of running a Scrum project when iterative releases are not possible
• Line Management in an Agile world – Scrum master/Line manager how to make these roles work as one
• Development vs Test – how to bridge the discipline divide to create a truly agile team

From our survey monkey we also got some additional feedback:

• Roles and responsibilities from Project Manager, Product Owner….. to Release Manager
• Scrum vs other agile frameworks

However what would be really useful is to get some ideas about what other subjects we can talk about in coming months around implementation agile in a non-agile world. What do people think also would make for a good discussion about agile implementation?
